Our Chef
Dennis Llusco
Dennis, a dedicated, curious chef deeply in love with her culture and Bolivian products, was born in Guaqui, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Her passion for Bolivian gastronomy led her to study in the city of La Paz, where she later enriched her experience working in flagship Bolivian restaurants like Gustu and Ali Pacha. Her quest for knowledge drove her to Brazil, where she perfected her techniques in renowned establishments such as Lasai and Imakay.
Upon her return to Bolivia, Dennis brought her vision to life by creating La Rufina, a project that celebrates traditional Bolivian food and seeks to use her experience and love for local ingredients to offer a unique culinary experience. Her personal touch aims to represent the soul of each dish and contribute to positioning Bolivia as a gastronomic benchmark.
